Your path in a new country

A home that is being rebuilt

When you move, you leave behind more than a flat. Your familiar rhythm stays behind, the people you could call in the middle of the night, the language you joke in, the work you were respected for. In the new place this invisible home has to be built again, from the ground up.

This is how the path usually goes. Eight stops, each with its own difficulties, its own questions and what helps you keep going. Tap a stop to find out more about it.

From the bottom upThe lower steps hold up the higher ones. While you’re not getting enough sleep, it’s hard to think about your own business.
This is not a gradeThe first step is no worse than the eighth, just as the foundation is no worse than the roof.
Moving pushes you downAt home you may have stood high. Here a lot has to be built from scratch, and that is not weakness.
Going down is normalAfter a trip home or a child’s illness, things get hard again. It is part of the path.
You have movedThe suitcases are unpacked, the documents submitted. This is where the trail begins.
One life“Here” and “there” are no longer two camps but one life.

Where are you on this path right now?

Most often it feels as if you need to jump straight to the fifth step: work, money, your own business. But really it’s one of the lower ones that creaks. The test will show which step holds you and which one is asking for attention. At the introductory meeting we’ll work out together where you in particular should start.
